Nimi Lkhagva is a Mongolian-American film director and producer based in Los Angeles and Ulaanbaatar.

At the age of 16, she gained her first career experience when she directed a high school theatre class in Sacramento with a play excerpt from The Anniversary.
At the age of 18, she decided to further her education and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue being a filmmaker. While working in Los Angeles, her work drew attention and was chosen for a grant from the Academy of Motion Picture and Sciences.
Since then, Nimi has excelled in various roles, from development to distribution; in commercial, music video, television, and feature-film spaces; from micro-budget to studio tent-poles. Her latest short film, the crowdfunded EXPRESS, has won multiple awards both internationally and throughout the United States.
As of 2022, she became the Los Angeles film consultant to the Mongolian National Film Council — a sector of the Ministry of Culture in Mongolia. She is a storyteller at heart, and her greatest desire is to tell those stories with films and filmmakers from across the globe.
